A 7.9 magnitude quake is big. Really big. It shakes the entire planet, even though you may not feel it. The Seismograph trace below is from Towson University and the quake on the other side of the world “pegged the needle”.
The image above was sent by the NASA Aqua satellite this afternoon and you can see the bright green of spring marching northward on this true color image. Notice the brown mountain ridges and the brown grass around Michigan and Indiana, compared to the brilliant spring green in the Carolina’s and deep South. You can
