The steadily warming global temperatures are changing our summers here on Delmarva, and with the summer solstice this morning, it’s a good time to look at how different summer is now than in 1970. Most of the area is seeing 3-6 days each summer above 95° than we did in the 1960’s and early 70’s.
The new GOES-R Satellite (Now called GOES-16) is in orbit and still being tested out.
