Onshore Flow will Drop Temps Back To Normal for Much of The Week

Meteorological Summer (The three warmest months of the year) begins at midnight tonight, as we move into June, but temperatures will drop slightly tomorrow as an easterly onshore flow redevelops over Delmarva. The beaches will likely not get above 70, but just inland temps. will reach near 80 for a while around Noon-2 PM. Temps will drop back some, even over inland areas, by later in the afternoon, with Cambridge and Easton seeing temps. remaining in the low 80’s

Below, is the high resolution model guidance showing temps. and winds tomorrow in the afternoon. This NOAA (4 KM resolution) model can sometimes be slightly too cool. I’m forecasting temps. a few degrees above it- 78-80 instead of 76.
