Next week’s weather pattern is looking very warm for almost the entire nation to the east of the Rockies. A strong high pressure ridge in the upper atmosphere will bring sunshine, and well above normal temps, to much of the Plains and Eastern U.S. Here on Delmarva, we may not be as far above average as areas to the west, but our temps. will be several degrees above average, and no significant precip is likely.

Some areas will be as much as 16 degrees above average as the map below shows. The numbers are the normal high temps. for a week from today. Our average highs for early November here on Delmarva are in the low 60’s, but upper 60’s and perhaps near 70 is possible. Lows average in the low 40’s, and we should stay on the upper 40’s to mid 50’s.
